Andrew Heaney was born on May 6, 1991 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Growing up, he was passionate about baseball and showed great promise as a pitcher from a young age. He attended Oklahoma State University, where he honed his skills on the baseball field. In 2012, Heaney was named Big 12 Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Year, solidifying his status as a standout player in college baseball.
In 2012, Heaney was drafted by the Miami Marlins during the first round of the MLB Draft. He worked his way through the minor leagues, showcasing his talent and determination. He made his major league debut pitching against the New York Mets on June 19, 2014 as a member of the Marlins.
Throughout his career, Heaney has proven to be a valuable asset on the mound. In July 2021, he was traded to the New York Yankees, where he continues to impress fans and teammates alike with his skills.
