Andre Holmes was born on June 16, 1988, in Illinois. He comes from an athletic family, with his father Kevin being a former basketball player for DePaul University in the 1980s. Growing up, Holmes showed a natural talent for sports and began playing football at a young age.
After completing high school, Holmes enrolled at Hillsdale College, where he continued to excel in football. From 2007 to 2010, he played as a wide receiver for the Hillsdale Chargers, setting a new record for the school with the most receiving yards in history.
