Anaysha was born on December 11, 1989, in Brooklyn, New York. From a young age, she was surrounded by music and faith, with her father, Eric Figueroa, serving as a bishop in their local church. It was no surprise that Anaysha’s talent for singing was evident early on, as she would often perform around the house, following in the footsteps of her older sister Timiney. At just two years old, she had her first public performance at her parents' church, setting the stage for her future in music.
While Anaysha’s early experiences in music were rooted in her church community, it was her talent and hard work that eventually led her to the spotlight. She initially pursued acting in her teenage years, appearing in films such as Mo' Better Blues and Life with Mikey. However, it was her passion for singing that ultimately brought her success.
Anaysha gained recognition as a backup singer on BET's Sunday Best, showcasing her powerful vocals and undeniable stage presence. Her talent caught the attention of industry insiders, leading to her signing with Light Records as a gospel singer.
