Aminata Kabba, better known by her stage name Ame, was born on December 13, 1994, in Sierra Leone. She discovered her passion for music at a young age and began singing in the Sedgehill School choir. It was there that she honed her vocal skills by performing covers of songs by artists such as Rihanna.
After gaining recognition for her talents in the school choir, Ame decided to pursue a career in music. She released her first single, "Need U (100%)," which quickly climbed to the top of the UK charts and garnered her widespread acclaim. This success led Ame to rebrand herself as KABBA, a name that better represented her unique sound and style.
