Alissa Pili, born on August 6, 2001 in Anchorage, Alaska, is an American college basketball player who has made quite a name for herself. She first picked up a basketball at the young age of eight, showing immense talent and dedication to the sport from the very beginning. However, basketball wasn't the only sport she excelled in. From third to eighth grade, she also played football and was the only girl in her league, proving that she was never one to back down from a challenge.
Graduating from Dimond High School, Pili continued to impress on the basketball court, leading her team to a runner-up finish at the Class 4A state tournament. Her skills were so exceptional that she was named the Alaska Gatorade Player of the Year not just once, but three times throughout her high school career.
Pili's basketball journey continued as she went on to play for the University of Utah, competing in the competitive Pac-12 Conference. Standing tall at 6'2", she quickly made a name for herself as a force to be reckoned with on the court. During her time at Utah, Pili was honored with several prestigious awards, including being named Pac-12 Player of the Year and earning a spot on the Women's Basketball Coaches Association Coaches' All-America team.
Her impressive skills and work ethic did not go unnoticed, as she was also recognized as a second-team All-American selection by both the Associated Press and the United States Basketball Writers Association.
