Alexx Ekubo was born on 10th April, 1986 in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. He attended Federal Government College and later went on to study at the University of Calabar. It was during his time at university that Ekubo discovered his passion for acting.
Ekubo's first taste of the spotlight came in 2005 when he landed his first film role in Sinners in the House. From there, he continued to pursue acting and eventually gained recognition for his roles in movies such as Weekend Getaway, Aina, and Lagos Cougars. In 2010, he competed in the Mr. Nigeria competition, finishing in second place.
