Born on June 8th, 1993 in Sioux City, Iowa, Alexa began her dance journey at the age of 10 at a local studio in Minnesota. It was there that she discovered her love for dance, but it wasn't until her family moved to Arizona when she was 12 that her passion for teaching truly blossomed.
At the tender age of 15, Alexa started instructing and shaping some of the most renowned dancers in the United States. Her choreography quickly gained recognition, winning awards at both regional and national levels. But her talents didn't stop there. Alexa went on to found two dance groups, Fresh Faces and Complexity, both of which made appearances on seasons 8 and 9 of America's Got Talent. Additionally, she is the choreographer for DJ's Mix, the featured winners of Disney Channel's Shake it Up Make Your Mark contest.
Despite her impressive resume, Alexa remains grounded and dedicated to her craft. She currently teaches at Club Dance Studio in Mesa, Arizona, where she continues to inspire and mentor young dancers. Family is also a central aspect of Alexa's life, with her younger sister Addison Moffett following in her footsteps and making a name for herself in the dance world.
