Albert Zambrano was born on June 4, 1971, in the Philippines to Isabelo P. Zambrano, a draughtsman, and technical drawing teacher, and Rosalinda L. Santos, a humanities and English teacher. From a young age, Zambrano showed promise as a painter, winning various competitions, including the ASEAN Exhibition of Children's Art in 1984 and 1985.
After completing his undergraduate studies, Zambrano pursued a degree in Urban and Regional Planning at the University of the Philippines Diliman in 2010. His education laid the foundation for his future career as an urban planner and architect.
