Sullivan attended Shaker Heights High School in Ohio, where she excelled in her art classes. After graduating high school, she went on to study at Colgate University, graduating in 2010 with a degree in graphic design. During her time at university, Sullivan honed her skills and developed her own unique style as a designer.
After graduating from university, Sullivan landed a job as the senior designer for the print edition of the popular food magazine Bon Appétit. Her creative food arrangements quickly gained attention and she soon became popular on Instagram, where she now has over 40,000 followers.
