A-Kid, born Carlos Ruiz on September 5, 1997, in Madrid, Spain, discovered his passion for wrestling at a young age. Growing up, he idolized legendary wrestlers and dreamed of one day stepping into the ring himself.
A-Kid's journey to professional wrestling stardom began when he made his debut on the international circuit. Competing in promotions like Pro Wrestling Guerilla, Progress Wrestling, and Chikara, A-Kid quickly made a name for himself with his high-flying moves and technical prowess.
In 2016, A-Kid, alongside Rod Zayas and Adam Chase, formed the team House White Wolf and competed in the Chikara King of Trios tournament. Despite their best efforts, they were defeated by the formidable stable House British Strong.

In April 2019, A-Kid made his WWE debut alongside Carlos Romo in a match against Mark Coffey and Wolfgang, known as Gallus. Although they were unsuccessful in their debut match, A-Kid's impressive skills caught the eye of WWE officials.
In 2022, A-Kid signed with WWE and joined the NXT brand under the ring name Axiom. Prior to his NXT debut, he was crowned the NXT UK Heritage Cup Champion, solidifying his status as a rising star in the wrestling world.
